Description
The 400 Bristol Pad is a high-quality, multi-ply bristol paper that is available in two surfaces/finishes - a smooth finish for fine line drawings using pen & ink or marker, and a vellum finish for pencil, charcoal, and pastel, as well as airbrush and light washes. It is not recommended for traditional watercolour techniques.
Strathmore 400 Series Bristol Pad is a high-quality multi-ply bristol

Suitable media applications for vellum (medium) surface: graphite
pencil, coloured pencil, charcoal, sketching stick, pen & ink,
marker, soft pastel, mixed media, oil pastel, light wash and collage.
