Avalon Forest in the hopes of saving her imprisoned mother.
It's said that these winding, whimsical woods have a taste for lost
witches...
What sinister surprises await within?
Cereza
Before she became known as Bayonetta, this witch-in-training was a
bit on the timid side. Can she summon up the courage to overcome this
treacherous forest?
Cheshire
The rough-and-tumble demon that inhabits Cereza's stuffed cat toy. He
begrudgingly aids the young witch's quest in the hopes of finding a way
back to Inferno.
An Unusual Tale of Adventure
To survive the perilous forest, Cereza and Cheshire must work together
to solve perplexing puzzles and fend off fiends.
- Left Joy-Con controller: Wield magical spells as Cereza,
transforming nearby flora to reach new areas and summoning prickly
thorns to bind irksome imps.
- Right Joy-Con controller: Unleash Cheshire's demonic strength to
slash at vines blocking your path or chomp on faeries.
Co-ordinating their unique abilities is key to overcoming the forest's
many tricks, traps and especially Tr na ngs - illusionary dungeons
that'll put Cereza and Cheshire's teamwork to the test.
Destroy Elemental Cores found on your adventure to enhance the duo's
capabilities further - opening new ways to explore the forest and
furthering their combative strategies.
A Little Touch of Magic
Many challenges await in Avalon Forest, but this adventure needn't be a
daunting one. Use ingredients gathered on your travels to concoct all
manner of healing tonics, energising syrups and powerful cocktails to
keep Cereza and Cheshire in tip-top shape.
You can even adjust many of the game's settings, including enemy
strength, damage taken, button inputs and more, to tailor this fairy
tale to your preferred playstyle.
