Description
The 400 Bristol Pad is a high-quality, multi-ply Bristol paper that is available in two surfaces/finishes - a smooth finish for fine line drawings using pen & ink or marker, and a vellum finish for pencil, charcoal, and pastel, as well as airbrush and light washes. The 400 Bristol Pad is not recommended for traditional watercolour techniques, as it is not suitable for medium-weight media applications. The size is 9in x 12in sheets and the surface is 2-ply vellum.
Strathmore 400 Series Bristol Pad is a high-quality multi-ply

Vellum finish is excellent for pencil, charcoal, and pastel, as
well as airbrush and light washes. Not recommended for traditional
watercolour techniques. Suitable media applications for vellum
(medium) surface: graphite pencil, coloured pencil, charcoal,
sketching stick, pen & ink, marker, soft pastel, mixed media,
