Description
The X100 Electric Guitar is an entry level model in the new X Series. It features the same slick and fast playability of the higher-end X Series models with Meranti body wood and hard rock Maple neck, Jatoba for fingerboard with 400mm(15.75) radius, two high output humbucker pickups, and 6-point tremolo system. The Powersound pickups provide classic humbucker punch and tone with a quality/value quotient that cannot be beat. The 6-screw vintage tremolo bridge transfers more of the strings' vibrational energy into the body of the guitar for greater acoustic resonance while providing excellent tuning stability. The ergonomic body contour both comfort and appearance was enhanced with an elegantly contoured arm cut on the top. This modification to the body has been carefully laid out on the bodies of the X guitars for maximum comfort without removing unnecessary amounts of wood. Meranti Body
The Meranti body has similar tonal characteristics to Mahogany with a strong mid-midrange that will cut through the mix with authority for rhythm while providing sweet highs for singing leads.
