The Trap Bar is a hexagonal bar with a 50mm diameter. It is most commonly used for exercises such as shrugs, which are an excellent workout for increasing the shoulder and trapezius muscles' strength. The Trap Bar provides the optimal centre of gravity, which is what makes it so unique. It is also often used for more complex exercises like the deadlift. You can keep your balance better as it's easier to keep away from the shins. The bar has a stable hexagonal shape and high quality chrome plating with knurled grip. There are two handles on each side for variations. The bar weight is 20kg and the weight receiving area is 27cm each side. The internal distance is 57cm and the distance between the double handles is 8cm. The handle diameter is 3cm.
