Oil
for Glass Oil Candles
Heard the expression? You get what you pay for? This motto certainly applies to the lamp oil one decides to use when fuelling ones candles.
It's easy to claim that the lamp oil one is selling is smokeless and odourless, but to what extent this is true is a matter of science.
Were assuming first that one is looking for a smokeless type lamp oil as if one goes for the general kerosene or paraffin types out in the marketplace, these are the scenarios one is faced with:
Bad oil will damage the wick/fibre
that is a major part of the combustion system for igniting the glass oil candle
There will be smokelots of it. and lots of smoke is toxic particularly when burnt in confined areas
Highly flammable oil or what is referred to as a lamp oil that has a low flashpoint does not take much energy to ignite it and therefore burns far more quickly.
The quicker the oil burns; the more it costs.
We emphasise the above and more so combines the type of fibre for it uses for its table lighting units with its lamp oil.
We use a high quality smokeless, odourless lamp oil with a high flashpoint; a combination that maximises burning time whilst producing unnoticeable smoke. This is a far healthier alternative.
We are unique in that we offer a smokeless citronella oil.
