The Kingston KCP548SD8K2-64 64GB DDR5 4800MHZ Sodimm Memory Module is a memory module that features DDR5 memory, a 50% increase in bandwidth over DDR4, and reduced power consumption. The module also features a 1.1V voltage, which consumes 20% less power than DDR4 modules at 1.2V. The module also features a Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMIC), which regulates the power required by the various components of the memory module. The module also features a Serial Presence Detect (SPD) hub, which integrates the Serial Presence Detect (SPD) EEPROM with additional hub features, manages access to the external controller, and decouples the memory load on the internal bus from external.
