The Luxens Solvent Based Plaster Primer is a solvent-based primer recommended for both interior and exterior plaster. It has alkali-resistance for use on sound cement, concrete and brick substrates, and provides adhesion for subsequent topcoats. It is suitable for use on Gypsum Plaster, Rhinolite, softboard and porous paper-faced boards. The primer is supplied ready-for-use but can be thinned with turpentine 10% for better penetration. It is applied by a brush or roller, and should not be applied to damp surfaces. All surfaces must be thoroughly clean, dry and free from grease, dirt or flaking paint. The primer is applied 1 or 2 coats, and should be stirred well before use.

It provides excellent adhesion for subsequent topcoats and offers good opacity over most surfaces. Suitable for Gypsum Plaster, Rhinolite, softboard, and porous paper-faced boards.
