Description
This is a limited edition 19-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from Glenfiddich's Age of Discovery series, released in 2013. It was created to commemorate the voyage of the HMS Beagle in 1831 and is finished in South American red wine casks. The nose is described as having toasted marshmallow, red berry, and vanilla oak tannin, while the palate is said to have spicy notes and a velvety sweetness with rich oak and berry flavors. The finish is sweet with a long tannin aftertaste. The bottle size is 700ml and the alcohol content is 40%.
Released early 2013, this is the third and final release in Glenfiddich'sAge of Discoveryseries, introduced in 2011.

Nose:Toasted marshmallow with red berry and vanilla oak tannin. Ripe fruits and a hint of woody spice.
Palate:Spicy notes on first taste, deep and smooth with a velvety sweetness. Rich oak notes and berry sweetness.
Finish:Sweet with a long, lingering tannin.
