Description
Celt Single Malt Welsh is a type of single malt whisky introduced in 2015 by the Welsh Penderyn distillery. It is part of their Dragon range and is matured in ex-bourbon barrels from Buffalo Trace distillery. The whisky is finished in ex-Laphroaig peated quarter casks and is non-chillfiltered, naturally colored, and bottled at 43% alcohol content in a 750ml bottle. The nose of this whisky is described as having mild aromas of peat smoke, a rocky seaside, and warm marmalade on toast. On the palate, it starts off sweet before the smoky and slightly medicinal flavors take over. The finish is slightly bitter but leaves a long and refreshing aftertaste.

Nose:Mild aromas of peat smoke, early morning at the rocky seaside and warm marmalade on toast all compete for our attention.
Palate:It begins with great sweetness before the smoky, slightly medicinal flavours descend.
Finish:Slight bitterness follows that leaves a long and lingering freshness in the mouth.
