Fortifood is a nutritional supplement containing 50mg of Coenzyme Q10 and 2.50mg of Bioperine (black pepper extract) per capsule. Coenzyme Q10 is naturally produced in the body and helps with energy production, cardiac function, and antioxidant activity. Bioperine is added to enhance the absorption of CoQ10. This supplement is indicated for tiredness, poor physical performance, statin-induced myopathy, and as a support for cardiovascular disease, cancer, muscular dystrophy, and certain neurological conditions. It is generally well tolerated with no serious adverse effects reported with long-term use. However, it may interact with antihypertensive drugs, chemotherapy, and warfarin.
