Maestro Dobel Anejo Tequila is a 100% agave, single-estate, small-batch tequila that was founded in 2008 by Juan-Domingo Beckman Legoretta, who comes from a long line of tequila-makers. It is aged in a combination of American white and European oak barrels and vintages from different stages of the aging process are blended together to create a desired flavor profile. The nose of this tequila is a mix of aromas from the wood and agave, including buttery caramel, almond, cinnamon, pineapple, apple, and a slight smokiness. On the palate, it has sweet, nutty, and vanilla flavors with hints of agave and fruitiness. The finish is smooth and long-lasting. This tequila comes in a 750ml bottle and has an alcohol content of 40%.
Maestro Dobel was founded in 2008 by Juan-Domingo Beckman Legoretta, who had 11 generations of tequila-makers in his family before him, some of whom were leaders of Jose Cuervo.
