It is important to allow sufficient contact time before rinsing and to use a hand scourer pad or brush for maximum effectiveness. Care should be taken to only use Bowl Glo on the toilet or urinal bowl and not on any other surfaces. It can also be used on stainless steel urinals, but should be rinsed off immediately after scrubbing. The active ingredient in Bowl Glo is hydrochloric acid and strict PPE, such as gloves and a vapour mask, should be used when using it in closed environments. It is available in a 5-litre container and is ready to use.
