Description
The Sony Wireless Remote Commander SORMT-DSLR2 is a multi-function remote control compatible with Sony Alpha a7/9-series, NEX, and DSLR cameras. It allows for remote shutter release, 2-second delayed shutter release, and video recording start/stop. It also has playback and delete control when connected to a TV, and can be used to control playback size and watch a slideshow. It has a dedicated Print button for printing images displayed on an HDTV connected via HDMI and linked to a PictBridge-enabled printer. However, full control may not be supported on some cameras, and the stop/start button may not work during movie recording.

With this single remote, you are able to remotely release the camera's shutter, release the shutter with a 2 sec delay, and start/stop video recording. Additionally, when the camera is connected to a TV, you can also control playback of images, enlarge or reduce the playback size, and watch a slideshow of the images on the camera. If connected to an HDTV via an HDMI cable, as well as linked to a PictBridge-enabled printer, you can also use the dedicated Print button to print the images displayed on the television. On several cameras, full control is not supported, on these models the stop/start button cannot be used and/or the stop/start operation is not usable during movie recording.
