Description
The Dual Action Tension Sensor DATS2 is a patented device used for electric fence monitoring. It can detect changes in tension on the fence wire and trigger an alarm on the energizer. It has a dual detection system to increase the likelihood of detecting intruders and reduce the possibility of tampering. The sensor is compatible with galvanized and aluminum fence wires and has a detection range of up to 50m. It is designed to work with the Hybrid Compression Spring (CNT2HB) to maintain proper tension in the fence wires. The sensor is made of durable materials and is easy to install on existing Nemtek electric fences. It has a detection range of ~220N to ~650N and an operating tension range of ~20N to ~200N. It is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -20C to 80C and has an IP rating of IP54. Its operating voltage is ~750V to 12,000V with a pulse duration.
The patented Nemtek Dual Action Tension Sensor DATS2 can detect a change of tension in the fence wire and uses the electric fence monitoring circuit to create an alarm condition on the energizer.
The Dual Action Tension Sensor increases the likelihood of an intruder being detected as it detects the lifting, pressing or forcing of the fence wires. It is equipped with a dual detection system to ensure that an alarm is triggered and reduces the possibility of tampering.
The Dual Action Tension Sensor DATS2 is used with galvanised and aluminium fence wires with a detection range (straight line) of up to 50m.
