Description
Launched in 2021 as part of the core range of single malt whiskies from the Highland Park distillery on the Orkney Islands. Matured in a combination of both first-fill European and American oak sherry casks, as well as a handful of refill casks.
Nose:Rich and complex, opening with spicy aromas of cr*me br*l*e, heather honey and crumbled cinnamon, fruity notes follow - fresh pineapple dressed with a scattering of lemon zest.
Palate:Hint of freshly baked sponge cake, warm from the oven, and cinnamon again, but toasted shards this time.
Finish:Citrus and vanilla notes linger in the aromatic peat smoke.
