Description
A blended whisky produced from 86% grain and 14% barley, Tenjaku is double-distilled in copper pot stills. Matured in ex-Kentucky bourbon barrels, Master Distiller Kenji Watanabe then creates the blend from three-, five- and six-year old whiskies.
Nose:Faint smoky accent. Sweet aroma, redolent of pear and dried fruit.
Palate:Well-rounded and mellow.
Finish:Slightly spicy. A long finish with a hint of white oak and a spreading sweetness.
