Bottled in 2018, this brilliant two bottle set includes two bottles of the Macallan 12 Year Old Fine Oak designed and released to celebrate the Year of the Dog. The whisky inside is as delicious as any and the design compliments it in true style. As a limited edition, quantities of this one are highly limited.
Triple Cask matured is a mixture of European and American oak casks that have previously contained sherry, as well as American oak casks which have contained bourbon. The range was introduced in 2004 as the Fine Oak, but was rebranded as the Triple Cask in 2018 in order to streamline it with the distillery's Sherry Oak Cask and Double Cask lines of the core range.
Colour: Rich straw.
Aroma: Complex with a hint of fruit and heather honey.
Palate: Medium balanced with lemon citrus, vanilla and light toasted oak and nutmeg.
Finish: Lingering with melon, papaya, fresh oak and oak spice.
Alc: 40%
