This means the knife is well-suited to handle some tasks not normally asked of a folding design, including but not limited to hunting applications like skinning and quartering or campsite whittling and kitchen food prep. It's one of the few designs not ideally suited for tactical encounters, but it'll handle everything else under the sun just fine.
