Contactless security management
With KeyPad Plus, you do not need to create Ajax accounts for new users. You just need to provide a copyprotected contactless card or key fob so that the user can manage the security of the entire object or individual groups.
Secure User Identification
To identify users quickly and securely, KeyPad Plus uses the DESFire technology. DESFire is based on the ISO 14443 international standard and combines comprehensive 128-bit encryption and copy protection. This technology is also used in transportation systems of European capitals and access systems at NASA.
Control with access codes KeyPad
Plus supports common and personal passwords, as well as arming without entering a password. The keypad additionally supports passcodes for users not connected to the hub. This is convenient, for example, for creating a cleaning company passcode. The use of passcodes is informative: users and the monitoring station know exactly who and when changed the security mode.
Remote access control
All KeyPad Plus events are registered in the Ajax app. If the access device is lost, the owner can instantly block it in the app, and the user can use a personal passcode at this time. All permissions and passcodes can be changed remotely and in realtime.
Autonomy
Even with daily use of the contactless identification function, the keypad will run for up to 3.5 years without replacing batteries. And with the card and key fob reader disabled, the battery life reaches 4.5 years. KeyPad Plus alerts the security company and users to replace the batteries.
Comprehensive anti-sabotage protection
KeyPad Plus is protected from passcode guessing. The keypad is blocked after several attempts to guess the passcode or use a third-party card or key fob. Users and the security company are notified of such attempts, as well as in the event of a loss of connection or if the keypad was removed from its mount.
