About Kiddies Yoga Teacher Training Course
The Yoga4Kids 40-Hour Online Or In-Person Foundation Training
Who Should Take This Training & Why:
Yoga Teachers: Looking to expand their business by incorporating childrens yoga into their teaching.
Professionals: Seeking to expand their skills (therapists, school teachers, etc.).
Parents: Interested in bringing more connection and joy into their homes.
Anyone: Committed to personal growth and fulfilment, passionate about working with young children, and believes that yoga can positively impact their lives.
Course Details: Each Course runs monthly over 3 consecutive Saturdays
Participant Requirements: Good health and stable personal circumstances to fully focus and dedicate themselves to the training.
it is not necessary to be a Yoga Teacher to attend this course
Ages Covered: Teaching children ages 3-7 (tots) and 8-12 (kids).
Course Objectives:
Create joy in a creative & non-competitive space.
Raise your vibration and teach from your highest self.
Form a loving & confident relationship with yourself and then allow children to do the same.
Live in harmony with self & others.
Balance the physical, emotional, mental, and energetic bodies of a child.
Regulate your nervous system and then do the same for your children.
Continually shift towards positive emotional behaviour and well-being.

Tots (ages 3-7)

Structuring a Childrens Yoga Class:
Techniques for changing physical, mental, emotional, and energy states
Using the breath to open a class
Importance of heart openers
Practical examples of meditative and energizing breathing exercises
Warm-up techniques
Exploring the 38-page card deck and 90-page postures booklet to understand yoga asanas and variations for children
Using yoga games, imagination, music, and other props to create fun and dynamic childrens yoga classes
Affirmations, meditations, and visualizations for childrens yoga classes
Teaching savasana and how to bring relaxation to children
Creating age-appropriate lesson plans for:
Tots (ages 3-7)
Kids (ages 7-9)
Tweens (ages 10-12)
Examples of unique and fun lesson plans for each age group
Index of recommended books, music, meditations, and references
