Description
Moving away from the distillerys previous vintage-only approach, Balblairs new range was released in 2019 and now proudly displays age-statements. The Balblair 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch is matured initially in American oak ex-bourbon casks, followed by a finishing period in first-fill, Spanish oak butts.
Nose:Leatherwood honey and spicy gingerbread followed by juicy prunes and fresh lemon peel.
Palate:Velvety in texture, bursting with dark chocolate, tropical fruit and spices.
Finish:Long and mellow, with notes of creamy vanilla and citrus.
