Big stone fruits, peaches, apricots, fresh citrus naartjie with subtle undertones of cardamon and floral jelly tots.
Every year Aegir pays ode to the wine harvest. This year they teamed up with Jason Steel Wines. On the day of the harvest, they collected Cinsault grape juice, brewed a lightly hopped Golden Ale, then blended the two together in French Oak barrels. The blend is naturally and spontaneously fermented in barrel, after which it is aged for a further 12 months. It goes through a final fermentation in the bottle and remains on the yeast.
Age for many years or drink now.Sediment will occur.
