Description
The heavily sherried Macallan Gran Reserva series was enormously popular during its brief tenure from 1997 to 2002. Each of the four vintages in this series displays world-class characteristics, but the 1979 vintage is widely regarded as one of the most memorable bottles ever produced by Macallan.
Bottled in 1997, this intensely rich, fruity, and full-bodied single malt was predominantly matured in sherry seasoned European oak casks. This single malt is characterised by its intense richness, fruity flavours, and full-bodied profile.
