AS A TEA
Use 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried comfrey leaves per cup of water. Bring water to a boil, then let it cool slightly. Place the comfrey leaves in a tea infuser or directly in your cup. Pour the hot water over the leaves. Allow the leaves to steep for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on your taste/strength preference. If not using an infuser, strain the tea to remove the leaves. Add honey or lemon for extra flavor (optional). Can be drank hot or cold depending on your preference.
Note: it is advised that one not consume more than 1 cup per day. This tea is not recommended for recreational use; as it is a potent herbal remedy. Due to the presence of pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PAs) it is not recommended that one consume this herbal tea over extended periods of time; use only as and when needed or under the advisement of trusted and registered medical practitioner.
