Description
De Kleine Wijn Koop Heimwee Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are from the Stellenbosch region, againstthe slopes of the Helderberg Mountain. This region, close to theAtlantic Ocean, has optimal terroir with decomposed granite andweathered Table Mountain sandstone soils.
Tasting Notes:
Red cherries, black berries with currants and cassis are supportedby a fresh vibrant nose of lead pencil shavings which complementthe overall complexity. The palate shows red, ripe fruit balanced byround, structured and fine tannins. A lingering, balanced, freshfinish lined with a good acidity and an underlying elegance.
