Johnnie Walker teamed up with luxury ski wear brand, Perfect Moment to create this limited edition blended Scotch whisky capturing the essence of apr*s-ski!
Master blender Emma Walker looked to the Alpine landscape for inspiration when selecting the components for this blend. Using Met Office data, whiskies that were distilled in the depths of some of Scotland's coldest winters were uncovered in the Johnnie Walker warehouses and blended with expressions from some of its most northern, and highest-altitude distilleries including Dalwhinnie, Clynelish, and Brora. The bottle comes housed snugly inside a rather splendid deep blue reversible bottle bag from Perfect Moment, which, once the whisky is taken out, doubles as a stylish crossbody bag that'll be ideal when the 'blue hour' comes around, sunset and twilight meet, and the activity on the slopes turns from skiing to socialising.
Rolling waves of rich spice lead to a deep surge of vanilla sweetness and honey, while caramel and hazelnuts course through dark chocolate undertones. The luxuriously long, smoky finish leaves a lasting impression.
