High-quality steel conical burrs deliver a very consistent and uniform grind,Whilst it can be calibrated for espresso (finer), it wont offer the step-less adjustment range required to perfectly dial in your espresso for a high-end espresso machine. But, the Encore will do just fine for a lower-end machine or a manual espresso maker.
With 40 stepped adjustment settings, the Encore has more than enough accurate and repeatable grind settings, ideal for alternative brewing and capable for espresso. (may require burr calibration)

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Grind no more than 60g-80g (max 4cups) of beans at a time.
Clean burrs once a month, and replace burrs if become blunt. (typically 1.5-2 years depending on usage)
