Sleeping Dogs is an action-adventure video game developed by United Front Games and published by Square Enix for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game was released in North America on August 14, 2012, and in Europe on August 17. It is the first game in the Sleeping Dogs series.
Wei Shen is a undercover cop in the Hong Kong police force who is investigating the Triads. The game takes place in the city of Hong Kong and the player can explore it by foot, car, or motorcycle. Wei can fight using martial arts or firearms. The game has an intuitive and imaginative combat system.

Players perform bone-crunching kicks and combos, vicious counters and a cinematic set of environmental takedowns making use of countless real-world items from circular saws to phone booths, incinerators to refrigerator doors.
