The Makita Compact Fast Charger is a high-speed charger for 18V lithium-ion batteries. It features an Optimum Charging System with built-in CPU and active control for current, thermal, and voltage. It can recharge a 3.0Ah battery in 22 minutes and a 1.3Ah/1.5Ah battery in 15 minutes.
