Bean There's Kenya Nyeri 250g is a bold and flavorful coffee that is a product of their direct fair trade partnership with the Ruthagati Cooperative. This cooperative is a member of the larger Rutuma Farmer Cooperative Society and represents over 800 members. The coffee is grown in the Nyeri region, just 65km south of the Equator at the foothills of Mount Kenya. Bean There has been working with Ruthagati since 2007. The coffee is made from SL-28, SL-34, and Ruiru 11 Arabica varietals and is fully washed. It has a rich fruity flavor and lively acidity, making it a great choice for those looking for a more adventurous coffee experience. The beans are harvested during the fly crop in June and July, as well as the main crop in November and December, at an altitude of 1650-1700 meters above sea level.
