The Carbothello Pastel Pencil is a charcoal-like pencil that is available in 60 shades and has a dry, dusty stroke. It can be mixed and blended, or used as a watercolor, and produces brilliant results on dark backgrounds. The high pigmentation guarantees great luminosity and opacity as well as color-fastness and color brilliance. The soft lead also draws perfectly on delicate paper. The wooden shaft protects the lead from breaking.
