This is a Kolinsky Red Sable brush from the Raphael of France line. It is made to very high specifications and has a fine point and full body. The ferrule and tip are made of seamless nickel-plated brass, and the brush is decorated with an orange tip. This brush is ideal for precision work and fine details, and is also good for use with all artists' brushes. Historically, this brush has been more expensive than gold.
