The Carbothello Pastel Pencil is a French red ochre pencil that is dry and dusty. It can be mixed and blended, or used as a water color. It has brilliant results on dark backgrounds, and has high pigmentation and luminosity. The soft lead also draws perfectly on delicate paper. The wooden shaft protects the lead from breaking.
