Description
The watercolour has a high color strength, meaning that the pigment will produce a strong color when used. The tinting zinc has a higher concentration of the pigment, which means that when mixed with other colors it will make the mix semi-opaque. The transparent chinese white has a lower concentration of the pigment, which means that color mixes will maintain their transparency.
One of the unique characteristics of these watercolours is the unparalleled colour strength (maximum pigmentation). And while this high colour strength requires a slightly different approach on the part of the aquarellist (so little paint is needed from the tube or cup for the desired colour effect that you have to get used to the ratio of paint to diluent), the advantages are clear.
