This watercolor is made with a phthalocyanine pigment, which is a type of pigment that is known for its high color strength. The pigment is also rated as being lightfast, meaning that it will not fade over time. Additionally, the pigment is categorized as being a Category 1 and 2 pigment, meaning that it is both opaque and transparent.
One of the unique characteristics of these watercolours is the unparalleled colour strength (maximum pigmentation).
