The Sofft Round Sponge is a special formulation of a semi-absorbent micropore sponge that is designed specifically for use with PanPastel. The sponge has a unique shape and size that replicates a different brush head, allowing for a wide range of mark making. Different effects can be achieved with each sponge, by using the sides and edges. The finished effects differ from those achieved by brushes as the brush stroke is eliminated. The Sofft Tools were specifically developed for use with PanPastel, but can also be used with soft pastel sticks, pencils and most water-based art and craft materials.
