Description
Studio oil is a high quality, economical oil color. It has a well-balanced color spectrum of 48 brilliant colors and high concentration of pigments for an exceptional color intensity. It also has excellent lightfastness. The 25 single-pigment-colors make it easy to create a variety of colors. The traditional production process uses three roll mills, which gives the color a distinctive smooth buttery consistency. The use of bees wax in the formulation gives it a characteristic short and buttery consistency. The surface dries in 2-4 days.

A spoor (0.5-1.5%) of the finest bees wax as one of the ingredients gives the colour the famous buttery and short consistency and makes the colour-film less brittle for the restorer. The binders are only pure vegetable linseed and sunflower oils in special quality.
