The paint is pasty, allowing for easy use with a brush and a painting knife. The paint contains the highest concentration of purest pigments, ensuring strong and brilliant colors. Many of the colors in the Expert Series are single-pigmented, meaning they have a maximum purity. When mixed, these single-pigmented colors produce a "pure mix." The paint is based on a 100% acrylic resin, which makes it durable and flexible. The colors have a uniform degree of sheen and do not vary in sheen. The paint maintains its original color for at least 100 years under museum conditions.
