Description
The movie is about a family who buys an antique mirror and start seeing things that make them violent towards each other. 11 years later, the brother is released from the psychiatric hospital and starts to investigate the mirror. He is convinced that it is responsible for his brother's psychosis and murders his father.

Supernatural horror directed by Mike Flanagan. When Alan Russell (Rory Cochrane) purchases an antique mirror to furnish his new house that he shares with wife Marie (Katee Sackhoff) and children Tim and Kaylie (Garrett Ryan and Annalise Basso), he simply thought it would look decorative on the wall. When Alan and Marie begin to hallucinate and become violent towards each other and the children, Kaylie starts to think that maybe the mirror could be to blame.

Eleven years later, Tim (now played by Brenton Thwaites) is released from the psychiatric hospital where he had been serving time for the murder of his father. While her brother was being convinced by medical professionals that what they thought they saw could not possibly have been real, Kaylie (now played by Karen Gillan) has spent her time researching the mirror and trying to prove the existence of its satanic powers.
