The hole saw is a precision-ground tungsten carbide tipped hole saw that can be used to cut holes in various materials up to 4.5mm in thickness. It can be used to cut into mild steel sheets, stainless steel sheets, steel pipes, cast iron, fiberglass, fibre-reinforced plastic (FRP), aluminum, brass, and vinyl. The hole saw is best used with a recommended rotation speed for the material being drilled into, and should be lubricated with paraffin or beeswax when cutting into aluminum.
