Description
This is a description of a spade bit, a type of drill bit. The bit is made of high carbon steel and has a Ø14.0mm shank. The bit is designed for rough boring in wood, and can be used to drill in hard wood, soft wood, chipboard, MDF, and plywood. The bit is available in a standard series or a Pro series. The Pro series bit has spurs to cut cleaner and faster than a standard spade bit.

Application:

Standard vs. Pro series:

TIP: To avoid splintering, drill the workpiece from both ends.
