Description
This is a description of a wood spade drill bit. The bit is Ø16.0mm and has a working length of 400mm. The bit has a 6.35mm hex shank for quick change. The bit is used for rough boring in wood. The bit can be used to drill in hard wood, soft wood, chipboard, MDF, and plywood. The standard vs. pro series spade bit is different in that the pro series bit has spurs to cut cleaner and faster than a standard bit.

TIP: To avoid splintering, drill the workpiece from both ends.
