Description
This is a description of a spade bit, which is a type of drill bit. The bit is 18mm in diameter and 400mm long, and has a 6.35mm hex shank for quick change. The bit is made from high carbon steel and is known as a "paddle bit" or "butterfly bit." The bit has a standard series designation, and a Pro series designation which features spurs to cut cleaner and faster than standard bits. To avoid splintering, drill the workpiece from both ends.
