Description
This is a description of a straight bit, with carbide tipped edges, that is designed for use with a router. The bit has a 12.7 mm shank, and is meant to fit into most routers. It has two flutes, which balance the bit and eliminate vibration that degrades the cut finish. The bit has a reduced feed rate due to the two cuts per revolution, but this is balanced out by the smooth surface it produces.
