Description
Fairview La Capra Merlot is a wine made from Merlot grapes. The wine has soft ripe red fruit on the nose and notes of mint. The palate is filled with plum fruit and soft, rounded texture well integrated acidity with full-bodied, polished tannins.
Since bottling their first vintage in 1974, Fairview have gone on to expand onto different vineyards throughout the Western Cape totalling more than 300 hectares. The wines produced by Fairview incorparate innovative techniques with classic flavours, and provide something unique with each bottle.
