About cedarwood:
Cedarwood oil has a pleasant, warming woody scent. It’s an astringent that gently tones the skin, and also has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
A note about caustic soda:
Caustic soda, also called lye or sodium hydroxide, is used to turn oil into bar soap; 72 hours after blending, the caustic soda is neutralised, leaving a mild and safe natural bar soap. All Pure Simple castile soaps are cured for a minimum of 8-12 weeks before being sold.
