With the clam, you can pace the camera on either side, while the clamp can be adjusted to fit surfaces as thin as a stop sign or as thick as a 5cm table. The screwing arm locks the sliding arm firmly into place. The Action Clamp and Locking Arm has two articulating ball joints that let you position your camera at any angle, just lock the arm in place with the tightening knob for a strong, vibration-free stable shot. The Action Clamp and Locking Arm comes with a tripod mount for GoPro but you can remove the mount and screw on a Contour or Sony Action Cam on the "-"20screw. This means that the tripod can be used with any tripod.
