Organic German Chamomile Essential Oil is a blend of 100% pure organic matricaria recutita (blue German chamomile) and other natural ingredients. Soil's Organic German Chamomile (Blue), like Roman Chamomile has excellent calming properties, but because of the natural occurrence of chamazulene, a powerful anti-inflammatory agent which gives the oil its blue colour, German chamomile is best used externally to treat inflammation.
