The Drop Box is a story about a pastor who builds a "drop box" to rescue any future foundlings. The pastor has received too many notes like this, and due to a complex number of factors, including the stigma associated with unwed motherhood, widespread aversion to children born with disabilities, and complicated and cumbersome in-country adoption laws, many newborn babies have been abandoned on the streets of Seoul, South Korea. The pastor's hope is that by embracing and protecting the most vulnerable members of society, he can show them that they are loved and have a place in the world.
